Elle's photoshoot

I finally took Elle to take her 2 year pictures today. She was such a ham! She LOVED every minute of the photoshoot.

Girl or Boy

I'm dying to find out what Abe and I are having. At first, I felt like I might be having a boy. But then, I had a dream that I was having a girl. Abe's Grandpa, Grandpa Day, is notorious for correctly guessing the sex of his great grandkids. I called to find out his thoughts on it. Without hesitation he said I was having a girl. So, what do you think? Do you think I'm having a girl or a boy? You can place your vote on our blog.

No more diapers for Elle.

Literally three days after Elle turned two, Elle decided to go pee pee in the potty at my mom's house!! Afterwards she went and told my mom. We were shocked!!! I wasnt planning on potty training her till this summer, but I guess Elle didnt want to wait that long. It literally took two days to completely potty train her. She even stays dry during her naps and at night. M&M's have proven to be a good motivator for Elle!! She's so funny. Everytime she goes pee pee in the potty, she screams "Elle went pee pee in the potty" and jumps up and down. Her new favorite game is to tell me who wears panties. She'll say, "Mommy wears panties, Grandmommy wears panties, and Daddy wears panties." It's so funny. Of course I just agree with her. Then she'll say, "No more diapers for Daddy. He wears panties." She's such a smart girl!!
Here's Elle going potty and her new pretty princess panties!!

Elle's special birthday present

Elle also got a very special present for her birthday. My mom helped Elle open the present. As soon as they opened it, my mom started screaming and crying. Everyone else in the room started screaming too. It was too much fun!! Here's a picture of Elle's special present!

Happy Belated Birthday Elle!!!

Sorry I've been MIA in cyberspace lately!! Abe's been living in Virginia since December for his Basic Officer Leadership Cours (BOLC). He'll be home in the middle of March and I can't wait!!! With him gone, Elle and I are SUPER busy doing everything by ourselves. I just havn't had the time or energy to even check my email. Abe came home for MLK holiday. We celebrated Elle's birthday then even though her real birthday wasnt till Jan. 29. I made her a flower birthday cake and cookies. We had a blast celebrating with our families and friends.

We also had a birthday party at playgroup for Elle, Gabe, and Haley.
