Your Everday Carry

The other day, my brother sent me this random webpage of this guy who posted some pictures of things he carries with him everyday. A lot of these things were things that I carry with me also, so I related pretty well. I usually always carry a knife with me mostly for cutting things, picking at things, and just for whatever a knife can do. Along with the knife I carry a flashlight, this comes in handy more than you think, plugging in wires to you computer under you dark desk, helping someone who dropped something in the dark theater, helping my wife dig through her 10 ft deep purse, etc. The flashlight is a Surefire E1L, it takes one lithium 123 battery. It's about as bright or brighter as a 3 or 4 D cell Maglite and the quality of the light is much better. The Swiss Tool has pretty much everything on it you need, pliers, knife, scissors, saw, bottle opener, etc. Sometimes I don't carry this on my person usually due to wardrobe but it will be near me if I don't have it on me like in my bag or in my car. So what is your EDC?

You never know when your going to need a flashlight, so I thought it it would be a good idea to have one in my car also and also Kelly's car. One night as drove home from work I saw a deer near some woods, since it was late, I stopped my car and grabbed my flashlight and focused the beam on the dears head, and watched it for a few minutes, it was pretty cool to see it eyes reflecting off the light. Check it out:

The two's of Kelly

Two things you compliment her on while in her presence:
- How pretty she always looks, with or without makeup
- How she is such a good Mom to Elle

Two compliments that you make about her to your friends:
- She is a good cook
- And she will drop whatever she is doing to spend time with
Elle and I

Two traits you married her for:
- Her outgoing personality
- The confidence she has in herself....and obviously her good looks

Two days you cherish being together:
- I will have to agree with Kelly one these two, Our wedding day in the
- And the Day Elle was born

Two material things you could give her if you just inherited a fortune:
- First thing that comes to mind is a nice car but I think she would rather
have a house with all the things she likes in home
- And a shopping spree to like New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Fargo

Two things you would miss the most if she left for two weeks:
- Going on walks with her, Elle, and Marley
- Coming home and seeing her and Elle playing in the drive way

Two thoughts that crossed your mind when you first met/saw her:
- I can't remember what I was thinking but I remember the first time
I saw her, I was in sixth grade (so was she) and I saw her running across
the gym floor and Tapp Middle School
- And then I think the first thought I had about her was "didn't she go
out with Caleb Lopez."

Two Favorite Dates:
- After we got engaged, we went to Ray's on the River
- Our first date to the Cheesecake Factory

Two funny/odd things you love about her:
- When she sneezes she makes the sneeze face like she's about to sneeze
and you get ready for this big sneeze and then there's just like this little
squeak, those of you that have witnessed this know what I'm talking about
- She tells me she doesn't like country music but whenever I get in her car
country music is always on the radio

Two places you have lived together:
- Kennesaw
- Powder Springs

Two favorite vacations:
- Same as Kelly's, Our honeymoon to the Atlantis
- And a cruise to the Western Caribbean

Two future vacations you look forward to:
- Yes, more cruises
- And skiing (I may be alone though)

Two things you look forward to later in life:
- Hopefully traveling around the world
- Buying an expensive sports car and driving up down
windy roads (with Kelly of course )

Growing up I would always think my parents were crazy for working out in the yard on Saturdays, I use to always tell myself that I would take it easy on Saturdays but now that we have our own place, I look forward to getting to spend some time out in the yard. I knew it was hot outside but I didn't realize how hot it was till I looked at my watch. My watch has a thermometer on it and a few other things, and the thermometer is usually pretty accurate, unlike the digital compass. After I got back from my mission I worked for Kelly Landscapes Management ( and don't ever remember it being as hot as it's been in the last few days. I took a couple of pictures of my watch to show how hot it was, if you look closely at the top the it reads "102."

MaryBeth's Shower

MaryBeth, one of my best friends from highschool is getting married. I went to her shower the other night. It was so much fun hanging out with my friends from highschool again. I hardly ever get to see them, so it was fun to reminisce.
